Jakarta Animal Aid Network

Jakarta Animal Aid Network otherwise known as JAAN was established in February 2008 by Femke den Haas, Karin Franken and Natalie Stewart. JAAN started as a central place people could contact/report cases of animal abuse and find out information about animal welfare in Indonesia. They have several programs in place and have had so many amazing rescue missions for all sorts of animals!

JAAN operates solely on donations from individuals and does not receive any financial support from the government.

Bali Children's Project

The Bali Children’s Project is a non-profit charity registered in USA and Indonesia. The organization originated in the early 1990s, when Joyce Scott and John Cooke recognized children unable to access school. They saw a cycle of rural poverty driven by lack of education, especially for young girls.

They are the first victims when families are forced to economize in times of financial hardship by taking their children out of school and directly to low paying work.
